Farrier and Clipping

I woke up this morning feeling prettty bad. =/

And then I found out that the farrier was coming early, at like, 7-8. So I was trying to get enough enegery to get up and let Sheik out when I heard them come. So I like ran down the hall to change into jeans and boots. I didn't even bother doing my hair.

And of course, Sheik wasn't out, so I had to run down and switch everyone around and bring him up. He was pretty bratty too, but he got up there. And he was pretty good...and man, those puppies LOVED the hoof trimmings, I've never seen a dog get so excited about them, they were actually fighting. XD

So then he asked if we wanted Easter done, because we only planned on doing Sheik. But I'm REALLY glad, because her's looked SO bad, I felt awful. She's looking a lot better though. She's lost a lot of her winter coat and has gained a lot of weight. Her knee is bothering her a lot though. When they were trying to do her other leg, she kept picking up her bad one like "Here, take this foot." lol, but we got them done and they look GREAT.

Then we clipped Sheik. He was a good boy. =D we did his ears and his bridle path, which look really good, especially his ears, I love how it looks. And when I'm feeling better I will do his legs and chin.

After we got that far in clipping, I started feeling so bad, like I could hardly stand, so I asked my mom if I could go in and lay down and she said it was okay. =]

So that's basically what I did for the rest of the day, I slept quite a bit and watched tv.

I didn't eat anything all day, because my throat felt so bad, but after I ate dinner I felt a lot better.

Then we feed again and I didn't feel too bad till we were almost done.

And now I'm actually feeling pretty decent. My throat feels a lot better...i hope it lasts. I'm really hoping this cold goes as fast as it came....
